Nokia 603 Overview

Nokia has once again tag Nokia 603 Symbian Belle smartphone in his line up of smartphones. The new Nokia 603 Symbian Belle smartphone all the latest technologies like NFC (Near Field Communication) to keep users better connectivity and off course the customer satisfactions. 

Here i am going to introduce some specification of Nokia 603 smartphone. 

This Nokia handset weighs 109.6 grams with dimension 113.5 x 57.1 x 12.7 mm. The Nokia 603 is a nice looking phone that comes in many colours to match your personality. The phone is available in black / white colours and with 6 swappable phone covers available in Black, White, Blue, Yellow, Green and Fuchsia.

The TFT LCD clearblack capacitive touch screen is 3.5 inches supporting 16:9 nHD 640 by 360 pixels resolution. The IPS technology is also incorporated into the display that enhances visibility and contrast.


The Nokia 603 comes powered by a 1 GHz processor and a dedicated graphics processor with OpenGL 2.0 support for 3D effects. You can play HD games on this handset. You can always check out the stores for more games. Fruit Ninha with NFC and Angry bird with NFC comes pre-loaded.


The Nokia 603 supports 3G HSDPA Cat. 10 maximum speed up to 14 Mbit/s, HSUPA Cat. 6 5.7 Mbit/s, EDGE and GPRS. There is a built in Wi-Fi for connecting with other Wi-Fi networks. This handset can also be used as a data modem, just connect the USB cable with your PC or laptop and you can share the 3G / 2G connections.

This handset comes with Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB connector for connecting data cable /  for charging, GPS (A-GPS support) with Nokia Maps and NFC. This Nokia handset supports full web browsing of real web pages with touch control.


There is a primary 5 megapixel camera without LED flash support. The camera comes with features like face recognition, face tracking, digital 2x zoom, red eye removal, motion blur reduction and full auto focus.  Videos can be shot in HD mode (720p) at 30 fps.


There are a lot of pre-installed apps such as Adobe Reader, Shazam, CNN Video, Nokia Maps and there are latest Nokia apps such as Nokia Drive, Guides, Weather and Public Transport. The utility apps include, Files, Recorder, Calculator, Note and Dictionary.


The Nokia 603 is a decent device for the price and the new Belle OS along with the FP1 update has some nice features. The Battery life is good, that lasts for 2 days with average use like few calls, messages, few hours of audio playback and FM Radio. The lack of camera flash and fixed focus camera are disappointing but the 720p video recording is a plus.
